We took a leap of faith to start Orcutt Direct Care. We spent years in the healthcare industry, working for hospitals large and small, clinics, and in urgent care. We loved helping people and being a part of their journey to get better, and we loved that people appreciated the care we gave.

We’ve always loved helping people. It’s the most rewarding work we’ve ever done.

But one thing always haunted us: how had this system that was supposed to help people become so incredibly expensive, complex, and inefficient?

Long wait times? Check.
Stupidly complex insurance? Check.
Expensive and half-baked care? Check.
After all that? Here’s a surprise!

The system is broken. It fails people. It’s the exact opposite of what we believe it should be.

We had to do something different.

We’re here to bring back the essence of healthcare: small, human-centered, and laser-focused on helping people lead better lives.
